Success at Little Boots Rodeo
We attended the little boots rodeo this past Saturday, hauling six kids who competed in all the events, even bull riding!
Hudson Sheldon won the senior calf roping. Maddie Caddis competed in the princess pagent and all the pee wee classes. Cameron Goff, Gracie Smith, and Alex Galloway competed in the Junior Events. Cate Dawson competed in all the Senior division events.
We enjoyed a great two days of fun. The rodeo had 100 contestants and 300 spectators!
Libby Elected Secretary
On January 8, 2016, Libby Shackelford was elected Secretary of BDCTA (Birmingham Dressage and Combined Training Association). As a board member, she looks forward to serving the members this year.

Shelby County 4-H did awesome at the State Show. Joy Owenby won State Champion in junior halter mares. Drew Townsend, Sylvie Daggett, Sky Cofer, Victoria Bryant, Cheyenne Martin, Lillie Gurganus, all placed in their events. Go Team Shelby County Horse Club!
